Terms and Conditions

Your order is accepted by dispatching the goods ordered by you.
All prices include a value added tax. Our Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to have been accepted by you when we have received your order, and they are thus part of the contract.


§1 Shipping/Forwarding

Usually the ordered items are delivered in a single delivery that can possibly be delivered under separate cover because of products which have to be shipped differently. The arising additional costs are covered by Artcopy Munich.
The general delivery period for storage goods can last three to six weeks after receipt of your order. Our indicated delivery periods for non-storage goods are based on pure experience and are therefore not obliging. Deliverance by us is effected with the reservation that the right items are delivered to us in time as well. Compensation upon delayed consignments is excluded as far as no gross negligence can be stated. The dispatch of the goods is executed at the consignee's risk and under reservation of proprietary rights. The observance of our delivery commitment shall be subject to the proper fulfilment of customer's commitment. If customer is in default of acceptance or violates any other duties to cooperate, we shall be entitled to demand the damage incurred by us including any additional expenses. In this case the risk of accidental perishing or accidental deterioration of the purchased object shall also pass to customer at the moment when he is in default of acceptance.


§2 General shipping costs

Orders from all countries of the European Community are free of transportation costs.


§3 Damages in transit

Please check the received items for damages; if the goods should be damaged please inform us in written form within four days. If damages in transit should be remarked on delivery, please show it to the deliverer i.e. the driver of the haulage firm immediately. The damage has to be confirmed in writing by the driver. In the case that hidden damages in transit are spotted please turn to the haulage firm for an assessment of damages. A graduate exchange of faulty items for faultless ones cannot be executed without a written confirmation from the haulage firm. §4 Payment

Actual payment and delivery terms apply. If the order quantity exceeds 2000.- Euro a down payment of 50% is charged.

§5 Returns/exchanges

In principle, a right of return insists on work defects of our products. These have to be reported within 14 days after delivery of the product. If the customer refrains from the customer's complaint, then the product is regarded however as approved.
A general right of return on all paintings cannot be given. Art paintings are made as an individual order at which the work is determined by the information from the customer first.
Insignificant deviations during production aren't completely avoidable concerning colours and details on the art paintings. Such deviations don't entitle to returns or exchanges.
The screen representation of our exhibited goods also could turn out different by different graphics cards, screens or browser versions.


§6 Setoff

The customer may set off only those claims that have been legally determined or not disputed by Artcopy Munich. The customer is entitled to a right of retention only in regard to claims arising from the same contractual relationship.


§7 Default of Payment

If the customer is in default of payment, interest to the amount of 5% beyond the basic interest rate of the European Central Bank will be calculated from and added to the open amount. It is up to the customer to prove that Artcopy Munich suffered less or no damage. Artcopy Munich reserves the right to assert additional claims.


§8 Deposits

If the order value exceeds Euro 2000.- a down payment of 50% has to be paid.


§9 Guarantee

We give lifelong guarantee after delivery. We reserve the right of gradually improving the terms of the contract. After two times failure of improving the terms of the contract guarantee demands such as cancellation of the sale contract or reduction of the purchase price is provided to you by law. §10 Placing of orders

You may order 24 hours a day from our online shop. The easiest way is using the order basket. Furthermore you can order via e-mail (info@artcopy-munich) or callback.


§11 Cancelling and changing of the order

If you wish to cancel your order it is only accepted in writing within 2 days after the order was generated. Please check our order confirmation which is sent to you by e-mail automatically. Changes to orders are only possible within 24 hours after receipt.

Additional terms and conditions are valid for deliveries to foreign countries.

§12 Legal basis

German law is valid for your order.

§13 Shipping/Forwarding

The short-term delivery scheduled by us may be delayed as we have no influence on foreign haulage firms.


§14 Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated according to the corresponding transportation zones.


§15 Modes of payment

The basis of the invoice is in any case the amount of the European currency EURO.


§16 Return/Exchange

Within the European Community carriage is paid to Munich; other countries are excluded.

You have a right to return the goods within 7 days after receipt thereof. The purchase price will be reimbursed to you within 30 days after the return shipment. Please do not use anything else but the original packing for sending the goods back. You have protected your right to return the goods if you dial our hotline number telling us that you want to return the goods. For any returns the provisions of the Fern ABSG 3 (law on remote sales) shall apply. According to these provisions, the consumer shall assume the costs for return shipments for a goods value of up to 150 Euro himself. As of a goods value of 151 Euro, Artcopy Munich shall assume the costs for the return shipment.


§17 Reservation of title

Artcopy Munich reserves its title to the purchased goods until the customer has fully paid the purchase price for the goods as well as any other goods belonging to the same order.


§18 Data protection

Personal data of the customer will only be collected within the framework of the legal provisions of the Federal Data Protection Law (BDSG) and the Tele Service Data Protection Law (TDDSG).

Final Provisions

Should one or more regulations of these Terms and Conditions be ineffective this shall not result in the ineffectiveness of the overall contract. The ineffective regulation shall be replaced by a relevant legal regulation.
This contract shall exclusively be governed by German law, the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods being excluded.
Artcopy Munich is in owned by Bernhard Plecher and is registered in Munich.
Place where the contract is to be fulfilled and court of jurisdiction is Munich.
False prints and errors excepted.
